Our Story
Kenmore Health Recruitment was born out of a simple yet powerful idea—nurses and midwives deserve more. Founded by a nurse-midwife with years of experience in everything from clinical roles to management, recruitment, and primary health, Kenmore was created to fill the gaps we saw in the agency world.
Having worked across a range of settings, we saw firsthand the frustration nurses and midwives face when seeking work and travel opportunities, yet finding themselves unsupported or overlooked. The market was flooded with agencies, but the personal connection and real understanding were often missing. We knew that agency staff aren’t just filling shifts—they’re the backbone of healthcare, especially in regional areas, where they allow permanent staff to take much-needed leave without the fear of it being cancelled last minute.
Since our inception, the feedback from both our employees and clients has been nothing short of inspiring. It’s encouraged us to continue on this path, knowing we’re making the impact we set out to create. We may be up against the big players—large organizations that have lost that personal touch—but we remain confident that we’re doing something different and, more importantly, making a real difference.
